The company facilities include workshops and 6.5 acres of training / proving ground for robotics and distributed sensing / actuation networks. Guerrilla Technologies produces disruptive technologies, leveraging from Robotics and Information Technology Industries.

Our mission is to design and build cost effective technologies in support of our clients specific needs. In doing so we aim to reduce harm to persons and or the environment through the eradication of Dirty, Dull or Dangerous jobs and work practices.
Methodology is what makes us different
At Guerrilla Technologies we don’t just want to sell you a robot or equipment, we want to understand what makes your business work and then we want to help make it better. We do this by:
- Working with you to understand your concept of operations and your business process.
- Establishing YOUR specific operational requirements relative to business or process KPI’s.
- Develop the most cost effective technology solution relative to your operational requirements and business KPI’s.
- Assist in the implementation of the new technology / process / equipment to minimise the sometimes painful process of change management. This can be done by implementing the technology as a service, with a predetermined technology / knowledge transfer process, or through a traditional training and implementation plan with whatever level of onsite / remote support is required.
- Maintaining a great ongoing relationship with our clients to ensure continuous improvements.
Technological Philosophies
1. Use of, and production of Disruptive Technologies
Our key philosophy can best be described by a single phrase: disruptive technology; where disruptive means new ways of doing things that disrupt or overturn the traditional business methods and practices.
Disruptive technology applies to both us and our clients; we aim to disrupt the traditional model of technology development by using “Micro Manufacturing”. By leveraging modern rapid design and fabrication technologies (3D printing, CNC machining, CAD / CAM software) we can rapidly manufacture products in small quantities using small highly efficient manufacturing facilities. Without all the overheads of large scale factories it becomes very cost effective to produce one off or low volume specialised products; this is how we disrupt the robotics and technology industry. The true winner in this model is the client; they get customised advanced technology specific to their needs in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the traditional cost.
Disruptive can also be applied to our clients industry or business process. By shattering the cost barrier and accelerating the development time through Micro-manufacturing we can enable revolutionary changes in our clients business process, thereby making them so efficient in comparison to their traditional competitors that they themselves disrupt their industry.
2. Custom Off The Shelf
“Custom off the shelf” is a fairly simple concept: where ever possible leverage from existing off the shelf products. This ensures clients are never paying for “reinventing the wheel” and sub systems are proven reliable technology. As an example: one of the greatest barriers to agricultural or military robotics is the upfront development cost for a specialist robot which comprises of the base vehicle and the control / sensing systems. Unfortunately a huge amount of the development money goes into reinventing the base vehicle. This unnecessary expense gets passed onto the client and creates the current cost barrier to wide spread adoption of these technologies. In the case of Agriculture, tractors have evolved over the last 100 years into possibly the perfect farming base vehicle, so instead of reinventing it, why not just use the off the shelf tractor and add a robotic upgrade kit. In the case of the Military or Emergency response industry; do we not already have the most suitable base vehicles at our convenience, why not just add a remote or autonomous upgrade kit? Unfortunately the majority of technology development is still traditional, and this is why most farmers spend countless hours driving circles under hazardous conditions and soldiers / responders continue to be at higher levels of risk than necessary.
